IT & Security Support

Location: Lisbon; Hybrid office/home.

About the Job

As an IT & Security Support professional, you’ll be the first line of support for our users, helping to maintain and improve our IT infrastructure while gaining hands-on experience with a wide range of technologies including Microsoft 365, Azure, and networking systems.

You’ll work closely with experienced IT & Security professionals, contributing to our operations, and grow your skills in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level support for corporate applications and systems (Microsoft environment)
  • Diagnose and resolve issues on PCs and platforms (troubleshooting)
  • Provide technical and security guidance and training to colleagues
  • Recommend configuration or software changes to improve performance, user experience, and security
  • Manage user accounts in Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Security Stack
  • Detect and report malware or virus-related issues to the security team and assist in mitigating those issues
  • Ensure IT systems’ security and compliance
  • Assist and respond to technical user inquiries, coordinating incident resolution
  • Support the local software development team and testing lab

Required Skills & Experience

  • Academic degree or professional course in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Up to 2 years of experience in IT support or related roles
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft technologies (Windows operating system, Azure, and Office 365)
  • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Entra
  • Basic knowledge of PC and peripheral troubleshooting
  • Basic knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (fluent English)

Nice to Have

  • Experience implementing, managing, and maintaining IT infrastructure
  • Experience in IT policy, process, and compliance management
  • Familiarity with governance frameworks such as ITIL or ISO 27001
  • Knowledge of AI coding tools (e.g., MS CoPilot, GitHub, Claude Code)
