Principal Software Engineer

Principal Software Engineer @ Tel Aviv
We are searching for a Principal/System Engineer to take the lead in researching and defining new functionality for our software suite. The successful candidate will take active part in the product roadmap design and technical negotiations with partner vendors.
You will be a part of our growing team in Tel Aviv, and work from home twice a week.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Technically leading development of features end to end (From requirements to code in production).
  • Design, implement, and test enterprise security solutions.
  • Perform ongoing research and prototyping for new features and product ideas.
  • Research new technologies and adopt them for use in the company’s product.
  • Leading software standards and best practices for teams.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of hand on experience as a senior software developer of a large-scale web based, security/management user facing solutions.
  • Extensive experience in scripting, and project management.
  • 2+ years hands-on development experience with Microservices Architecture.
  • Proven experience building complex web systems.
  • Solid experience and knowledge at .Net core platform.
  • Solid experience in high-level programming languages, like C#/Java.
  • Experience and knowledge of security/system IT.
  • Understanding of networking, wireless, USB/peripherals, PKI.
  • Familiarity with docker containers.
  • Operating systems experience (Linux, Windows, Mac OS).
  • Familiar with best practices in Development Lifecycles, Source Control tools like Git, good familiarity with the Linux command line interface.
  • Experienced in test driven development.
  • BSc/BA in Computer Science or a related degree.
  • Excellent communicator with good spoken and written English.

  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Enjoy working in a collaborative development environment.
  • Be innovative, but always productive and result driven.
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills. Clearly communicate status, roadblocks, and concerns to the team on an ongoing basis.
  • Ability to work and deliver independently.
  • Possess commercial experience mentoring younger developers.

ADVANTAGE

  • Experienced in the cybersecurity industry.
  • Experienced in Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery systems.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps.
  • Familiarity with Azure Cloud solutions.
